One promotional video for her NowThatsTV collab shows Skyy walking through a home in an all-gold miniskirt and hard corset. As a result, the comment section has been on fire since the video went live less than 24 hours ago. Other posts about ‘Falling For Sky’ are also loaded with critiques about Alexis moving backward from God to her “original programming.” Now, she’s clapping back and clearing the air about where her journey stands.

Instagram Users Have Been Lighting Up Her Comment Sections All Year

As mentioned, the video is a teaser for Alexis’ dating show, ‘Falling For Sky.’ Also, on her page, Skyy has a promotional flyer for the show’s upcoming auditions in Atlanta. In the comment sections of both, folks aren’t being coy about their thoughts on how the show aligns with the Godly lifestyle she’s been preaching on social media since Feb. 2023.

At that time, she announced her long-time spiritual journey. She said on Instagram that she was “getting closer to God” and had committed her life to him.

The message and appearance of growth resonated with her audience, and Alexis Skyy pushed through with her public image clean-up. Later that year, she issued apologies to former foes like Blac Chyna, Ari Fletcher, Jayda Cheaves, Akvar B, and even Masika Kalysha. By September, she exclusively told The Shade Room she was in “phase two of her journey.

“The beginning was all about finding my purpose, finding who Alexis was, just finding my niche. I had to figure out what I really wanted to do with myself. Now I’m entering my soft girl era. Getting myself together, I just turned 29. I’ve always been a woman, but I’m entering womanhood forreal. My priorities matter,” she said, revealing she had recently relocated back to Atlanta from New York.

Earlier this year, when Alexis Skyy began showing off her body -ody, -ody, -ody again, her followers were gagged. Take, for example, an April 27 post of Alexis Skyy promoting a girdle by giving a peek-a-boo at her buns, jumping into jeans, and posing for the camera. @pleaseme.4eva wrote, “I knew that covering up your body phase wasn’t going to last long…I was rooting for you.”

In June, Alexis Skyy shared a throwback video of her walking through a vacation home in Turks & Caicos in a thong bikini. The video gave a back view, and all the jiggle caused a commotion in the comments. Fans defended her right to dress appropriately for a beach day, while critics brought up her spiritual journey.

Alexis Skyy Reacts To The Image Backlash

The comment section vibe is the same for Alexis Skyy’s other recent posts in bikinis, other revealing looks, and sexy poses, including her dating show video.

“Walking with God is not for the weak.. you gotta stand 10 toes down … Satan hit her in her pockets .. so she folded,” @celebrity_advisor_to_da_stars wrote.

“I thought she changed her life and was finding God,” _najbaby9 said.

“So she played with God for clout or nah,” @kenzie_kodaks asked.

@ms_kelolo wrote, “She got saved to go back to the streets??? That’s why you can’t post everything cause look at us judging like hell.”

“Very ungodly, very unholy,” @htx.barbabyyy wrote, while @goldenempress22_ added, “She played in God face smh wow.”

And the energy you’re reading above is the same under another promotional video on her timeline. Early Wednesday (Oct. 16), she addressed all the ongoing criticism in an Instagram feed statement. She began by stating that people will judge no matter what she does and that her “choices are personal and not for the world.”

Alexis Skyy also said that she’s accepted by God regardless of her decisions and welcomed critics to unfollow her.

“…I’m a mother, a business woman, and a bad bish last this is how I always been before I decided to open up about my spiritual walk at the moment I let go of certain things and some things I still battle and I will continue to be me and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Y’all need to stay of my page with the God comments bc you’re doing exactly what God wouldn’t want you to.”

In her comment section, she added another note for people accusing her of using the God messaging to make money. Alexis Skyy also said the backlash she’s receiving is the reason people don’t share their testimonies, but admitted she doesn’t regret sharing.

“Also yall can stop with you did it for money! Y’all make no sense I could have stayed doing what I was doing before I was in journey of finding myself and what was for me I had to many people trying to dictate my path, and it all became confusing , I don’t regret showing my experience with him and he knows my heart ,imagine living one way then and instant change it can be scary and that why I continue to pray ask him to open bigger doors but trying to tear me down is only pushing me away from it. That why people don’t share there testimonies because you all judge and the same ones judging me have plenty of skeletons they need to be worried about this is just the beginning I know he will guide be where I need to be.”
