Nick Cannon Show Reportedly “CANCELED” After Just Six Months

Written by on March 10, 2022

The talk show arena is notoriously tough to crack. And, according to sources, it’s proven too tough a task for Nick Cannon.

For, according to multiple reports, the star’s daytime talker has been canceled.

After initially impressing TV bosses as a stand-in for Wendy Willams in 2020, the multi-hyphenated media maestro was tapped to front his own show, The Nick Cannon Show – which premiered last Fall.

Helmed by the same production company as ‘Wendy,’ there were high hopes for the series – which benefitted from Cannon’s popularity across other mediums (such as ‘The Masked Singer’) and his Rolodex of celebrity friends who frequented as guests.

However, ratings for the show haven’t delivered – dipping as low as 400,000.

Per Page Six, it’s led to the plug being pulled.

An official announcement is expected soon and it’s believed Cannon will be granted the grace to complete the season in its entirety.

Interestingly, sources say his morning spot on Fox is where Jennifer Hudson’s newly minted talk show will land.
