Internship Opportunity Overview

This internship offers undergraduate students a hands-on experience in the operations of a radio station. By interning with uCasters X Stream Broadcasting, students will gain insight into station programming, show preparation and execution, technical skills like recording, mixing, and editing, and an introduction to the business side of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist on-air talent and staff with production both on and off the air.
• Manage digital and online components of the show, including tasks such as social media posting and maintaining station website content.
• Shadow and learn from various departments including sales, accounting, traffic, promotions, talk shows, and board operation.

Additional Responsibilities

Interns may also be asked to:

• Conduct research and manage information databases.
• Create liners for radio talent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This is an unpaid internship, and applicants must be currently enrolled in high school or college (or be enrolled in the semester for which they are applying). Students must also be eligible to receive course credit for this internship.
