Four years after Xzibit’s wife, Krista Joiner filed for divorce, a judge has officially finalized their split. For context, PEOPLE reports that Krista first filed the paperwork back in February 2021.

Details On Xzibit & Krista Joiner’s Divorce
According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, a judge granted Xzibit’s request for bifurcation on April 28, officially restoring both him and Krista Joiner to single status. Xzibit originally filed for bifurcation to separate their marital status from ongoing divorce matters like child and spousal support. The filing also notes there’s no chance of reconciliation.
Xzibit and Krista Joiner were set to attend trial on April 28, but PEOPLE says they’ve now reportedly rescheduled for June 16. In the docs, the ‘Pimp My Ride’ star mentions that he doesn’t want to stay married to Krista. He wants their marital status cut so they can settle everything.
“I no longer want to be married to Petitioner. I request that our marital status be terminated as soon as possible. Restoring Petitioner and I to single persons is in both of our best interests and will allow us to alleviate emotional strain and pressure and hopefully help facilitate settlement on all reserved issues,” Xzibit explains in the docs.
Krista Opens Up About Financial Struggles Amid Divorce From Xzibit
X and Krista reportedly have a son together, Gatlyn Joiner. Their latest filings come after Krista recently asked modify their existing spousal support to over $21,000 and child support to over $9,000 to maintain their lifestyle, per TMZ. Back in February, TMZ reported that Krista and their son had to leave their home because they could no longer afford the $10,000 rent and struggled to cover other luxury and high-end expenses. Hot97 also mentions that Krista is requesting $300,000 in attorney fees.
Krista shared her financial struggles with InTouchWeekly earlier this year, explaining that she had no funds for emergencies and X reportedly won’t help her either.
“I am extremely concerned that I have no funds in case of an emergency, and during the present fire-related emergency. Xzibit]has proven that he will not assist, or even inquire to see if we need help, during this or any other emergency,” Krista stated.

Xzibit and Krista joiner tied the knot on November 29, 2014. Their wedding occurred hours before authorities reportedly arrested X in Laguna Beach, California, for two counts of DUI, per ABC News. He later pleaded guilty, served three years of probation, and completed an alcohol education class before the case closed.
