As TSR previously reported, Jonathan Majors recently made headlines by reacting to Marvel’s decision to swap ‘Avengers: Kang of Dynasty’ for ‘Avengers: Doomsday Movie.’ TMZ reported that the actor felt “heartbroken” upon discovering he would not play Kang in the new film.
The Marvel franchise change followed the December 2023 ruling that found Majors guilty of assault. In July, TMZ spotted the ‘Creed III’ star on the streets of Los Angeles and asked him how he felt about the news.
“I’m heartbroken, of course. I love him. I love Kang. Dr. Doom is wicked, though,” Jonathan explained.
The TMZ reporter highlighted that Robert Downey Jr. will star in the new film. Downey Jr. and Ezra Miller, who both faced felony charges, received second chances despite their legal issues. In contrast, Majors faced a misdemeanor charge.
“I think it’s fair that Mr. Downey is being and has been greeted with patience and curiosity and love, and that Mr. Miller has gotten the same treatment.” Johnathan stated.
Additionally, Majors mentioned that “They’re being allowed to work their art and be creative at that level.” However Majors added, “I didn’t really get that.”
