Social media users are weighing in after GloRilla shared her thoughts on pregnancy.
On Monday, October 14, a video interview was published on Charlamagne Tha God’s official YouTube channel featuring Glo. About eight minutes into the interview, Charla asked Glo about her recently released song, ‘Procedure.’
“Are men really trying to trap you and get you pregnant?” Charla asked.
In response, GloRilla said, “Yeah.”
As the conversation continued, Charla noted that in the song, Glo raps about possibly getting her tubes tied.
“You don’t really mean that,” he said.
However, Glo affirmed her lyrics, stating that she does. Ultimately, the rapper explained that she wants to have children but doesn’t want to get pregnant. Instead, she would like to have her children via surrogacy.
“I want them to have my DNA but I don’t want to have them,” she said.
Glo explained that she arrived at the conclusion by seeing how “restricted” her friends were during their pregnancies.

Social media users stepped into The Shade Room’s comment section to share reactions to GloRilla’s statement.
Instagram user @unemployed.mike wrote, “‘It’s just for 9 months’ – a man ”
While Instagram user @theprettygirlsguide added, “Not ‘it’s just 9 months’ -a man who has and never will have to be pregnant ”
While Instagram user @minasaywhat added, “It’s not 9 months…. people don’t talk about the months of healing after..”
As The Shade Room previously reported, GloRilla recently made headlines after a reporter asked NBA player Damian Lillard about his relationship with her. In February, Glo had publicly flirted with Lillard by sharing a photo of them on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The following month, Lillard appeared to remain mum when asked about Glo’s bold statement, per The Shade Room.
Okay Damian Lillard didn’t say too much when asked about GloRilla shooting her shot during All-Star weekend, but I know ya’ll see how hard he’s smiling. Ya’ll think it’s a sign?! 🙁@TMZ ) pic.twitter.com/weozp2lQMO

Then, in September, Lillard expanded on his relationship with Glo by explaining to a reporter that he prefers to keep his “personal life personal.” However, he and Glo don’t have anything “going on.”
