R&B singer Sammie is speaking out after sparking concern with a message about death being “on” him.

Sammie Shares Message About Death Being “On” Him
On Wednesday, August 13, The Shade Room reposted a message apparently shared by Sammie via Instagram. In the post, the R&B singer wrote, “I don’t want to because I’m not ready. But death is on me… SOON. Pray for me.”

Social media users immediately sent prayers and concern Sammie’s way in The Shade Room’s comment section.

Sammie Speaks Out Following His Message About Death
Subsequently, Sammie returned to Instagram to share a video of himself. Furthermore, it seemingly showed him sitting outside a residence while smoking a hookah.
“I’m enjoying some sun,” he told the camera. “Enjoying the finer things in life, which is health, family, peace, Godliness — bills are paid. [I’m] just grateful for it all, God. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
Lastly, the R&B singer captioned the post with:
“Chase purpose. Be grateful. Forgive yourself and those whom has wronged you. Be kind. Be merciful. Be intentional. Be love! And most of all, give glory to God. This world will wither away, but God is everlasting. Feed and purify the soul. Posture your heart in a Godly state & only focus on today, for tomorrow has it’s own worries. Peace, light & love. 💙🫶🏾”
