Spice Calls Out Jamaican School For Hair Policy

St. Andrews, an all-girls high school, is going viral on social media after they dropped a post saying young girls can no longer rock edges. The message lit up on the internet instantly, and Spice shared her thoughts. The Jamaican-bred artist clearly wasn’t feeling the new rule, posting a video of a young girl on her Instagram Stories with her hair styled in a braided and twisted bun. Spice captioned the clip with her thoughts and called out Jamaica’s school system, saying baby hairs won’t block learning. “Jamaica school systems always focusing on the wrong thing KMT. How this hairstyle ago stop this little girl  from leaning?” she wrote.

Here’s What St. Andrews Said In Their New Hair Policy

St. Andrews isn’t playing when it comes to baby hair. The high school started going viral after they shared a poster on their official Instagram page telling the girls that edges are no longer permitted on campus. St. Andrews also asked the young ladies to keep their looks neat and even called the swoop edges curtains. See their now-viral message below.

“Remember, curtains belong in the house, not on foreheads! 😅 Let’s keep our looks neat and school-ready.”
