What is it?
Jamm It or Slam It is 107.3 VIP’s live music review show, streaming LIVE on the station’s TikTok page. Independent artists submit their records, host Adam “Jamm” Mitchell plays them live and gives his honest feedback — and then the listeners decide. The audience votes on the spot: Jamm It — and the record goes into rotation on 107.3 VIP. Slam It — and that’s the end of the line: see ya, wouldn’t want to be ya. No scripts, no politics, no pay-for-praise. Just a broadcaster with 25 years in radio telling you the truth about your record, with real stakes riding on it.
How it works
- Submit your track through our host page at nero.fan/1073vip. One track per submission.
- Get your slot. Submissions are reviewed live, in the order received, during scheduled Jamm It or Slam It shows on TikTok LIVE.
- The listeners vote live. Jamm It and your record goes into rotation on 107.3 VIP. Slam It and it’s bye-bye. You get the host’s real feedback either way, and the audience hears it the same time you do.
The fee — straight talk
There is a small submission fee, and here is exactly what it does and does not do. It books your slot and guarantees your record gets heard, live, by a real programmer. It does NOT buy the verdict — the verdict belongs to the listeners, and theirs is the only say that counts. It does NOT buy rotation — rotation is earned, by a Jamm It vote, never purchased. If your record jams, that was earned. If it gets slammed, you will hear why — and that honesty is the most valuable thing in the room. Paid submissions are always disclosed on air.
Submission rules
- You must own the rights to the track you submit, or have permission from the rights holder.
- One track per submission. Additional tracks need a new submission each.
- The submission fee is non-refundable once your track has been reviewed on air.
- If a show is cancelled or rescheduled before your track is reviewed, your submission rolls to the next show or your fee is refunded — your choice.
- The host may cut a track short at his discretion (content, quality, or technical issues). Have a clean version? Submit it — clean versions play better on a live show.
- By submitting, you give 107.3 VIP / uCasters X Stream Media permission to play your track on the live show and to use clips of your review to promote the show.
- Submitters must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.
- A Jamm It verdict earns the track rotation on 107.3 VIP; rotation placement and duration are at the station’s discretion. A Slam It verdict ends the submission — no rotation.
- Jamm It or Slam It is a review show, not a contest. No prizes are awarded. If that ever changes, official rules will be posted here first.
- The live audience vote decides Jamm It or Slam It and is final. The host’s feedback is his honest opinion, but the decision belongs to the listeners.
