Yung Miami Steps Out Solo With Debut Album ‘Watch Dis’

Written by on October 31, 2026

Yung Miami has officially started her solo chapter. The Miami rapper released her debut solo album, Watch Dis, on October 23 through Uptown Records, stepping out on her own after City Girls moved into separate solo careers in 2024.

She did not come in quietly. The album’s run started with “Spend Dat,” which became her first solo Top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 17, and she followed it with two more singles, “F You,” produced by London On Da Track, and “2008,” produced by J White. Across the 21-track project, Miami says the title is the message: she is back to talk her talk, and she wants everybody to watch.

The guest list stretches from Miami to the world. Travis Scott, Summer Walker, Quavo, G Herbo and Bryson Tiller all appear, hometown heroes Rick Ross, Trina and Trick Daddy join her on “Dade County,” and “Spend Dat” returns in two remixes, one with Lil Baby and Kodak Black and an international version with Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel.

For longtime City Girls fans, the emotional center is “Dear JT,” a letter to her former groupmate. After years of sharing the spotlight, Yung Miami is using her first solo album to say what she has to say in her own voice, and the early numbers say people are listening.
