On Thursday, November 13, ‘The Breakfast Club’ released their recent sit-down with Mike Epps via YouTube. Furthermore, about 41 minutes into their discussion, Epps shared that he told those worried about food stamps getting cut off, “‘Don’t worry about that.’”
“See, Black people, we been getting our s**t cut off. We been getting our doors kicked in and stuff. This is not for us,” he told ‘The Breakfast Club’ hosts.
Additionally, he explained that people shouldn’t take a cut off on food stamps “personal.”
“I’m actually glad that they’re cutting some of these n****s off food stamps ’cause some of us need to not be on food stamps,” he continued, seemingly referring to the tentative changes to the program. “‘Cause it’s a trickle-down effect. You get the food stamps, then you go buy the food that gives you cancer. Then, you eat the food that gives you cancer. Then, you’re sad, you walk around here upset, your diet’s f****d up… I’m gonna tell you some honest to God truth: Your diet done sent a lot of n****s to prison.”
In turn, Charlamagne Tha God told Epps that the internet would be “mad” about his stance and call him “MAGA Mike.” In turn, Epps brushed off the potential reactions.

The clip of Mike Epps sharing his thoughts on food stamps on ‘The Breakfast Club’ was also shared on Facebook. Furthermore, users left reactions in the clip’s comment section.

In June, before Mike Epps shared these thoughts on food stamps, he was turning heads with a post he shared on social media. As The Shade Room previously reported, Epps shared a throwback photo of himself with the caption, “If I could tell my younger self anything it would be don’t stress everything is gonna be ok ✅ 1993 tbt YN”
Subsequently, the photo left one social media user sliding into TSR’s comment section, writing, “He would have laughed me right out my drawers.” Meanwhile, another added, “This man been fine his whole life”
