Kevin McCall Reacts To Chris Brown’s Social Media Post & Explains Why He Believes The Singer Owes Him $25,000

On Thursday, October 23, TMZ published an exclusive report asserting that the outlet had caught up with McCall outside Locafella Loc Studio in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday. During the conversation, McCall was asked to share his thoughts on the recent message Chris Brown shared via his Instagram Story following his sit-down with ‘Back On Figg.’

McCall responded by singing the first two of his ‘Deuces’ collaboration with Brown: “All that bulls**ts for the birds. You ain’t nothing but a vulture.”

From there, McCall was asked to elaborate on him recently requesting Brown to send him the $25,000 he’s “owed.”

“I mean, I didn’t even know [about the $25,000]. That’s why I sold my catalog when I was going to prison and stuff. I thought it would give me some money to see my daughter and help me from going to prison. It still didn’t work. I still did three years. But it says I owed him four songs — even though I recouped off the first song, ‘Deuces,’ they said I still have to owe the [four] songs. I got all the songs done. And now they’re saying Chris has to sign off.”

Furthermore, McCall explained that he “has all the emails,” presumably with a record company, and that if anyone is “lying” on Brown, that’s on them. From there, McCall seemingly shared his frustration with what he says is Brown “acting too rich” to talk to him. Lastly, before concluding the conversation, McCall even noted Young Thug’s “great gesture” of wanting to help by sending him $25,000. However, he added that he would like to hop in the studio and work to earn his money.

More On Kevin McCall Alleging Chris Brown Owes Him $25,000

As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this week, a clip surfaced from Kevin McCall’s sit-down on the ‘Back On Figg’ podcast. During the conversation, McCall became emotional, revealing that he’s been on EBT while Chris Brown is “at Breezy Bowl, making $90 million… Can I get $25,000 for them four songs I owe you, bro?” McCall’s emotional plea even prompted Young Thug to lend his hand.

Additionally, Brown also caught wind of McCall’s comments and lent his own apparent sentiments.

To note, Kevin McCall and Chris Brown’s apparent history of “burnt bridges” dates back at least a decade. As The Shade Room previously reported, in 2015, McCall opened up about being signed to Brown and Brown allegedly failing to boost his career. Prior to this, they collaborated on songs that would go on to be some of Brown’s biggest hits: ‘Dueces,’ ‘Strip,’ and ‘No Bulls**t,’ seemingly being three of the four songs McCall referenced in his comments to TMZ.
