Anita Baker Kicks Babyface Off Tour!

Sweet love is the last thing Queen of Quiet Storm Anita Baker had on her mind when she took to Twitter this morning (June 13th) to announce that she’s booted Babyface from their hotly-selling North American tour.
As 1073VIP reported last month, the drama started when Babyface was unexpectedly axed from their New Jersey date – an incident both parties suggested was out of their hands due to “technical difficulties.”
And while Babyface made it clear there was no beef between them, his fans weren’t buying it – some even taking to social media to slam the diva for what has been reported as primadonna behavior.
Last week Baker hit back at the allegations one by one as some not only mentioned her believed beef with Babyface but also rumored feuds with Maxwell and late R&B legend Luther Vandross.
That defense continued when Anita not only suggested she was being “harassed and targeted” by the famed R&B producers’ fans but that he was encouraging the behavior by remaining silent.
Finally having enough, Baker Tweeted:
“After Silently, Enduring Cyber Bullying/Verbal Abuse & Threats of Violence from the Fan Base, of Our Special Guest/Support Act. In the Interest of Personal Safety. I will continue, The Songstress Tour, alone. Appropriate refunds will be made. Blessings ABXO
