Written by 96motero on March 12, 2026

Black Air Force soldier Dottie La is speaking out after reportedly going viral for misinformation about her time in the service. A TikTok account called “PPBaby Podcast” reportedly spread false, disparaging information about Dottie La, and now she’s reaching out to spread some truth.
Between the false information, the subsequent racist remarks toward Dottie La, and the online attacks — why hasn’t TikTok taken the content down?
Now, The Shade Room’s Justin Carter is shedding some light on ‘TSR Investigates.’
More On The TikTok Spreading Lies About The U.S. Air Force Soldier Dottie La
According to Carter, a TikTok with the on-screen caption, “girl Took the Bonus to Enlist, Now She’s Afraid To Go To War,” portrays Dottie La as someone who was “crying” about her time in the military and “wanting to quit” after receiving an $8,000 sign-on bonus and signing an 8-year contract. However, per Carter, the contract doesn’t exist, and neither does the sign-on bonus.
“I never got a bonus joining the military – I never got a bonus,” La told Carter. “… I joined about four years ago, and in the video, they’re saying I joined a month ago. And they said I joined for the money, which is not the case at all.”
La Claps Back
Per Dottie La, she’s not sure why she’s being targeted. Additionally, she says that she’s reported “PPBaby Podcast” and other accounts spreading false, defamatory information about her. However, up to now, TikTok has not complied with removing the accounts.
