Before Bad Bunny was announced as the halftime performer for the upcoming Apple Music Super Bowl LX, Lil Wayne and Kendrick were at the center of the event’s headlines. As The Shade Room previously reported, Kendrick Lamar was announced as the halftime performer for 2025’s Super Bowl LIX. Furthermore, the announcement was shared in September 2024.

“Confused. Disappointed. Angry. But most of all inspired. Will never again be in a position or have the [goat emoticon] in a position where we are at the mercy of someone else’s decision. We will make the decisions,” he wrote on social media at the time.
