Diddy Pulls All The Stops: A Letter, 11-Minute Documentary & He’s Expected To Speak In Court Before Sentencing (WATCH)

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs isn’t going down with pulling all the stops. His defense pushed to get his convictions dropped a week before today’s sentence. On Tuesday, the judge basically said “nah.” He declined to rewrite Diddy’s “illegal” activity as an amateur pornographer’s work. Still, his defense didn’t let up, sending the judge a slew of character support and sentencing recommendation letters from Combs’ family, industry peers, and even his former public baes.
At the final hour, Diddy himself is coming forward. He submitted a letter asking for mercy and explaining he’s a “changed” man. His team released an 11-minute documentary-style video depicting Diddy’s personal and professional accomplishments. And today he’s expected to speak in the courtroom.
How Much Time Is Diddy Really Facing?
As mentioned, it’s all in Judge Arun Subramanian’s hands. He will determine whether Combs will sit in jail or go home soon. He can give Diddy the maximum sentence for each count of violating the Mann Act: 10 years times two plus time served. Those years could be served at the same time or back-to-back. The judge could also lean toward the prosecutors’ recommendation of at least 11 years. It wouldn’t be ideal for the defense, which has asked that the judge show leniency and send Diddy home after over a year.

Sentencing Is Underway (LIVE UPDATE)
The court is officially in session for the sentencing everyone has been waiting for since July. Diddy arrived at the courthouse from the Metro Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he’s been jailed since his arrest in September 2024. The same judge who’s ruling today denied him bail three times leading up to this point.
