Mulan Hernandez isn’t letting Stefon Diggs‘ lawsuit against her slide! This week, US Weekly uncovered that she clapped back by countersuing the NFL player a few months ago. Like him, she’s alleging assault and asking for at least $250,000 but no more than $1 million. So, what exactly went down between these two? Let’s get into what their independent lawsuits say and whether they each plan to push forward!

Here’s Why Mulan Hernandez Is Suing The Pro-Athlete

Mulan’s lawsuit might be news to the internet, but it’s been on court records for at least six months. US Weekly reports that she filed her claims in Texas on April 7. The former ‘Basketball Wives Orlando’ star moved to sue the 31-year-old after he sued her first in February. Her lawsuit alleges that Stefon Diggs punched her in the back of the head with a closed fist on June 7, 2024, and then tried his best to keep her quiet. She says Diggs attempted to “induce” her into signing a non-disclosure agreement. Per the paperwork, he allegedly wanted to keep his “malicious and egregious act” from the NFL and public eye. Meanwhile, that same day, Mulan, whose real name is Mia Jones, claims she was diagnosed with a concussion. She also claims she sought medical attention on June 14.

That same month, Mulan Hernandez claims that Stefon Diggs flew his personal assistant to Houston to meet with her. He was allegedly still seeking her signature on an NDA at the time. It appears that she declined, and in November 2024, she had her lawyer reach out to the pro-baller to hold Diggs accountable. The report does not specify if she demanded money then.

However, in her April 7 filing, Mulan Hernandez clarified that she’s seeking unspecified damages for physical pain, mental suffering, and her medical bills. As noted, she wants between $250,000 and $1 million in the still active case.

Stefon Diggs Sued Mulan & Her Friend Earlier This Year

In February, Stefon identified Mulan as his “casual boo” when he sued her and her friend, Brianna Mack. His paperwork alleged that the women had harassed and made threatening remarks toward him. He accused Mulan of using a deadly weapon while being physically violent, then pretending to be an abuse victim to extort him. He asked the court to award him $250,000 in the case, for her “misconduct” and “destruction of his property,” including a wristwatch and gaming system. Diggs also claimed to have suffered “severe emotional distress” as a result of Mulan’s alleged extortion and trespassing.

After Stefon Diggs’ lawsuit became public, she took to social media to call him out. She claimed he was suing her with a “fabricated story” after mediation sessions didn’t work in his favor.

“I WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED NOR SILENCED,” Mulan said at the time. “Having to relive this moment is very traumatic for me, especially in my time of healing. Domestic violence is something I do not wish on anyone, and everything that is done in the dark will come to light.”

In her post, she included a photo of her diagnosis sheet from her visit to Memorial Heights Emergency Center on June 7, 2024. The document listed “minor closed head injury, concussion with no sign of consciousness.”

It’s unclear if Brianna has settled or clapped back in court, but they aren’t the only women Stefon Diggs has taken to court this year! In July, he demanded a paternity test as part of a lawsuit against him from Aileen Lopera, known as Lord Gisselle. She initiailly filed against him in December 2024, while still pregnant with her daughter, Charliee.

Soon after, footage surfaced of him leaving the hospital with a baby carrier on May 11, 2025.
