NasFromTheGram Faces Backlash Following Livestream Comments Toward Disabled Creator

Earlier this week, content creator NasFromTheGram went live on his account, where he was seen verbally attacking another TikTok user, Maggi Jo Davis, who is reportedly living with Down syndrome.

In the viral video, Nas became aggressive after Maggie refused to show him her private parts. He mocked her appearance, saying, “No, shut the f— up, b—. That’s why you have two chins and your m—— hair is thin as f—.” He continued making disturbing threats and vulgar comments toward the woman, even asking repeatedly, “Would you have my child?” Nas seemingly became more irate as Maggie appeared visibly uncomfortable and confused as the livestream continued.

NasFromTheGram Apologizes In Instagram Post

NasFromTheGram, who has amassed over 6 million followers for his comedic skits, including his viral “McDonald’s employee” character. Amid all of the chatter about the viral TikTok livestream with Nas and Maggi, he shared a post on Instagram the following day addressing the backlash. In a video, he admitted that his behavior was “disgusting” and claimed he couldn’t bring himself to watch the whole clip. Nas also said he had been intoxicated at the time and claimed he did not realize Maggie had a disability.

“I want to sincerely apologize to Maggie, her friends, her family, anybody else that has seen that video, seen me act in that manner,” he said. “I was overly intoxicated. I have yet to watch that video in its entirety. I watched about 18 seconds and cut it off. What really made me realize the drinking needed to stop was waking up the next morning and not remembering a lot of what happened.”

While TikTok user @darkskinxmenance wrote, “If he didn’t watch past 18 seconds how he know he “realized” at the end of it???”

TikTok user @justchazzjames wrote, “Bad you were not slurring your words, you weren’t drunk! If you couldn’t remember what you were saying but you were reading the comments & then not really realizing she was Down syndrome till the end, is all lies! Nas you’re awful!”

While TikTok user @salestbabe1 wrote, “drinking never made me say such disgusting things.”
