Whew! 19-year-old Warren King was just minding his business on Chicago’s East Side when federal agents pulled up like it was a scene outta ‘Law & Order.’ What was supposed to be a regular Walgreens run ended with Warren — a U.S. citizen, btw — getting slammed to the ground like a criminal. The whole thing was caught on camera, and let’s just say… the streets are NOT staying quiet about this one.

Chaos Erupts As Agents Tackle Innocent Teen

According to footage captured by a bystander named Jose Aguilar, Border Patrol agents rushed into the Walgreens on East 106th Street before sprinting back out and tackling Warren King to the ground. The wild part? The crowd can be heard yelling to federal agents that he’s a US citizen while King himself repeatedly shouts. Additionally, footage shows one agent pinning him down and another yelling at onlookers to “get the f— back!”

Chase Turns Chaotic As King Is Caught In Crossfire

So here’s the alleged backstory: ABC7 reports the feds were on a mission tied to an operation earlier that morning, which involved a car crash and chase linked to two undocumented immigrants. Agents reportedly chased the pair, who fled from the scene of the crash. That pursuit culminated inside this Walgreens, where King was reportedly shopping with his girlfriend’s sister and her boyfriend. DHS later confirmed an arrest related to that crash, but it’s unclear how or why King got caught in the middle. Either way, the streets (and social media) are not having it.

Now, let’s take it back to what led to this… Just last month, a judge said “Nah” to the National Guard’s deployment in Portland. However, the drama spilled over to Illinois. And, a lawsuit dropped accusing Trump of launching a long-standing “war” on Chicago and the state of Illinois. According to reports, the lawsuit claims that Trump’s latest moves are “unlawful and dangerous.” This comes after Trump greenlit sending Illinois National Guard troops into the city, claiming it was needed to stop “violent riots and lawlessness,” according to White House rep Abigail Jackson.

But local officials? They’re not here for it. Leaders in both Oregon and Illinois have made it clear they believe federal involvement is only making things worse. They say the so-called crackdown is doing more harm than good — and now, the courts are being asked to step in.
