Twitch streamer and internet personality Kai Cenat has officially made history. On Sunday, September 28 — 27 days into his month-long livestream marathon — Cenat became the first streamer to ever surpass 1 million subscribers on Twitch, breaking his own subscriber record.

Kai Cenat Breaks Streaming Record Reaching 1 Million Subscribers

While most of us were catching Zs early Sunday morning, Kai Cenat was wide awake and busy making history. Furthermore, his road to the 1 million subscriber milestone was filled with high-profile appearances from celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, the Jonas Brothers, Snoop Dogg, and more. This, while also delivering streams with non-stop entertainment for hundreds of thousands of viewers.

But in the moment he reached 1 million subscribers, Kai was surrounded by the people he loved most, cheering for him as he crossed the finish line.

Shortly after reaching the goal, Cenat shared a celebratory tweet:
