The Shade Room obtained an exclusive photo and video of Fetty Wap after his release. The pic sees him posted on a sidewalk in a black sweatsuit, while the video shows him during what looks like a meeting. In a statement, the rapper, whose government name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, thanked his family, friends, and fans for sticking with him while he was behind bars. “I want to thank my family, friends, and fans for the love, prayers, and continued support — it truly means everything to me.”
He also shared his fresh-out plans, which are to give back to communities, support at-risk youth, and focus on making meaningful impacts moving forward.
“Right now, my focus is on giving back through my community initiatives and foundation, supporting at-risk young children by expanding access to education, early tech skills, and vision for young kids and students so they can show up as their best selves. He continued, “I’m committed to moving forward with purpose and making a meaningful impact where it matters most.”
