Heist Vibes! Footage Shows Alleged Louvre Heist Suspects After $100M Grab In Broad Daylight (VIDEO)

Paris was not ready for what went down at the Louvre museum recently. Forget high-speed car chases or cinematic getaway plans—this was pure, unfiltered audacity on display. Wild new footage shows two thieves slowly lowering themselves out of the world-famous museum on a mobile lift like it was the most normal thing in the world…right in front of unsuspecting tourists.

Jewel Heist At The Louvre, But Make It Slow Motion

On Sunday, a nearby civilian seemingly shot a video capturing the neon-vested and motorcycle-helmeted group as they descended in what can only be described as the slowest getaway in heist history. As they hit the ground, they disappeared from view and, somehow, managed to escape on motorized scooters. Additionally, if you’re picturing some chaotic ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ scene, think again—these guys looked like they were late for brunch.

Yes, you read that right. The $100 million jewel heist didn’t end with a sprint or a fancy escape vehicle. It ended with two grown men casually riding a lift like they were checking out the view. Meanwhile, French authorities are scrambling to find the rest of the crew, who reportedly swiped eight pieces of jewelry in just minutes.

$100M Heist Or Hot Mess?

How did they manage to rob the highly treasured and highly secure Louvre museum in broad daylight, you ask? At around 9:30am local time, the thieves took about 7 minutes to casually cut through a glass case while guests looked on like they were watching a bizarre street performer. They even tried—and failed—to set fire to their mobile ladder, accidentally dropping an emerald-studded imperial crown with over 1,300 diamonds in the process. And the cherry on top? It belonged to Napoleon III’s wife. Not to mention, the thieves abandoned the stolen truck with the keys still inside.

Furthermore, French authorities are still piecing together how this happened, and they haven’t identified any of the suspects. All that remains are a lone motorcycle helmet and a glove—apparently the only souvenirs from the audacious heist. Paris, apparently, just witnessed the Louvre version of a “drive-thru robbery.”

The TL Can’t Stop Clowning The Louvre

Social media went absolutely IN on the Louvre this week. Some folks straight-up asked, ‘Wait…what do you mean the museum got robbed in broad daylight?!’ While others are dragging the setup, saying, ‘This plan is so simple someone and their mom could’ve pulled it off.’”
