Jenelle Evans Shares That She Got Mommy Makeover Surgery

On December 18, Evans took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos with her 3.1 million followers. Furthermore, she wrote that she’s “been keeping a little secret…”

“After 3 pregnancies, work outs, and eating clean my body still needed some extra help especially with diastasis recti (a mom pouch) which a lot of us deal with after we have kids. No amount of exercise fixes this. I decided to do a mommy makeover… earlier this month. We replaced my old implants with 400cc silicone implants by @breastimplantsbymentor and repaired my abs with a tummy tuck,” she revealed.

Additionally, Evans explained that she’s had her “body judged since [she] was a teenager.”

“So choosing this was about feeling like myself again and not explaining it to anyone else. Still healing but I already feel so confident, happy and really excited about this new chapter! Tomorrow I celebrate my 34th birthday and I can honestly say I’m proud to welcome a new year loving the skin I’m in,” she concluded.

She Opens Up About The Mommy Makeover Surgery

On Tuesday, December 30, PEOPLE published an interview with Evans where she opened up more about her recent surgery. Per the outlet, Evans underwent the surgery in early December. Furthermore, she noted that the “timing was right” for the procedure because she knows she’s done having kids and “wanted to focus on herself and feeling confident in how she looked.”

“I had to get my breast redone because they were saline, and saline is only good for 10 years,” Evans added, explaining why she underwent the nip to her chest.

Per the outlet, Evans also wanted rock-hard abs and was told she needed a tummy tuck to reach her desired look.

Since her surgery, Evans’ recovery has reportedly been going well. Additionally, she shared why she decided to divulge the update to her followers.

“Since I started social media, I’ve just shown the real, raw, true self, true personality and everything into my life, all the organic content. So I think it’s very important to keep up the organic content for my followers and be as loyal as possible, like I have been, and also show girls that you’re not alone. You’re not the only one dealing with this,” she explained.
