Kai Cenat kicked off his ‘Mafiathon 3’ and big names have been pulling up to the stream. Latto and Ice Spice popped out as the latest duo. One highlight came when Kai pressed them about how they managed to squash things and mend fences for their new record. He told them the chat wanted answers, but the ladies kept it cute. Then Kai tried again, asking, “Who made the first move to do the record?” Ice Spice joked that the real tea was for “another segment,” but she did spill a little, saying Latto sent her the record and she hopped on it.

Was There Ever A Real Issue Between The Rappers?

Now that Latto and Ice Spice have popped out together and collaborated on a song, fans wonder if there were problems between them. The verdict is still out on that since the ladies haven’t shared. However, Ice made it clear before that she had never had an issue with Latto. In July 2024, Ice Spice cleared up where she stands with Latto while chopping it up with Rolling Stone. The Bronx femcee said there’s no problem, but she does think Latto was trolling her and took something that was supposed to be a joke a little too far.

“I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her, ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me. I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like, at this point, it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny,” Ice explained.

Additionally, Ice mentioned the lil’ jabs she’s peeped from Latto. For example, using a s**t cake to celebrate an accomplishment. She thought it was a reference to her song, ‘Think U The S**t.’

“Like, bro, ‘Think U the Sh*t’ is from January. You’re going to post a piece of sh*t cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re taking something that’s supposed to be a fun moment for you, and you’re making it about me.. again.”
