Video Shows Brian King Joseph Hinting At Harassment Claims Ahead Of Legal Action

In an Instagram video posted on Dec. 26, 2025, Brian told his followers that he landed a job as a performer on a major tour with a high-profile celebrity. He avoided name-dropping the celeb but shared that issues came up between him and the star. By the time he posted the video on IG, he said he had already taken legal steps to address the situation. He explained that he spoke out because he believes people should feel free to talk about harassment they face at work. He also promised fans that more updates would come. In his caption, he labeled the post a PSA and encouraged anyone in similar situations or who had dealt with it before to speak up. “Important PSA: 🗣️🗣️love you guys, stay safe out there and always stand up for your beliefs and what is right no matter what.”

More Details About Brian’s Lawsuit Against Will Smith

Brian King Joseph filed a complaint against Will Smith in the Superior Court of California on Dec. 30, according to PEOPLE. He also included Smith’s company, Treyball Studios Management Inc., in the lawsuit. In the filing, Brian claims Smith “deliberately groomed and primed” him for sexual exploitation after inviting him on the 2025 global tour, ‘Based on a True Story.’ From there, Brian says a series of alleged traumatic incidents happened in March 2025, during Smith’s album release. One incident allegedly involved an unknown person entering his Las Vegas hotel room without permission. Even though nothing appeared forced, Brian says he felt a “sexual threat of violence” after discovering a handwritten note that read, “Brian, I’ll be back…just us” and reportedly signed “Stone F” and marked with a heart.

The violinist also says he allegedly found other items that alarmed him: wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, and an HIV medication with someone else’s name. But that wasn’t all; additionally, he saw an earring and hospital discharge paperwork from someone he didn’t recognize. These items made him fear that someone unknown might return to his room to commit sexual acts.

In his lawsuit, Brian says he alerted the hotel staff about the break-in and showed them the items he found in his room. He claims a member of Will Smith’s tour management team shammed him and then fired him. Per PEOPLE, the tour later brought in another violinist to replace him. It remains unclear whether Brian plans to seek financial compensation, but he said the alleged March 2025 incident caused him severe emotional distress and led to “economic loss, reputation harm, and other damages.” He also says the termination triggered PTSD and other mental health struggles.

Will Smith’s Lawyer Breaks Silence On Allegations

Allen B. Grodsky, Will Smith’s lawyer, spoke to PEOPLE about the lawsuit. He and Smith denied Brian’s claims. Grodsky also told the outlet they are working to ensure that the truth comes out.

“Mr. Joseph’s allegations concerning my client are false, baseless, and reckless,” Grodsky said in a statement on Jan. 1. “They are categorically denied, and we will use all legal means available to address these claims and to ensure that the truth is brought to light.”
