Yaya Mayweather Calls Out NBA YoungBoy’s Absence While Crediting Her Father Floyd For Helping Raise Their Son KJ

Not long ago, Yaya Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy appeared to be on good terms, especially after she publicly thanked him for gifting their son KJ a puppy for Christmas. However, things now seem to have taken a turn. Yaya has reportedly reached her breaking point when it comes to co-parenting with the rapper and isn’t holding back as she takes to the internet to air out more of her frustrations.

Yaya Mayweather Continues To Call Out NBA YoungBoy

In a recent series of tweets, since deleted, Yaya hinted at dealing with favoritism. She shared that when situations begin to hurt her son’s feelings, she’s ready to stand firmly behind him. By Wednesday, she returned to social media full force. In new tweets, Yaya directly called out NBA YoungBoy, accusing him of prioritizing others financially while failing to show up for their son. The situation has allegedly motivated her father to step in as the primary support.

In one tweet, Yaya wrote, “You giving h*** money to go shopping and buying h***jewelry, but still haven’t given me money for my son’s birthday party. You know who paid for my son’s birthday party? MY DAD!!!!!!”

She also reposted a commenter’s reaction that read, “He buying sh** for their kids and flying their kids out is crazy, Kentrell is a menace.” 

Yaya continued by praising her father, boxer Floyd Mayweather, explaining that his support goes far beyond finances. She added, “My dad doesn’t just help me with KJ financially either. when i tell y’all my dad really stepped up and is more like father figure to KJ than a grandfather. he’s the one teaching KJ how to be a REAL man he’s there mentally, physically, emotionally etc.”

She went on to say, “It doesn’t matter if I have it or not… I didn’t lay down with my dad and make a baby, but somehow he’s the one stuck helping me take care of my child.”

Yaya later reacted after a young woman seemingly shared a video inside NBA YoungBoy’s home on TikTok, writing, “A FAT WHITE WOMAN??? I’m sick to my stomach actually.”

After a commenter added, “You know sh** fr when even yaya fed up baby,” Yaya responded, “It’s only so much a person can take damn.”

Many social media users gathered under The Shade Room Teens to react to Yaya Mayweather’s tweet. Some encouraged her to heal and continue raising KJ despite the odds, showing support for her decision to speak out. Others held her accountable, saying she knew NBA YoungBoy’s history as a partner and father based on past statements. Many also agreed NBA YoungBoy needs to step up and be present for all of his children, not just some of them.

Also Wednesday, attention turned to NBA YoungBoy’s wife, Jazlyn Mychelle. This week, she shared behind the scenes footage from her maternity shoot on her YouTube Shorts. Jazlyn captioned the video, “Happy Anniversary. I love you forever. 1/7/23.” In the clip, she’s seen wearing a mauve pink maternity robe that highlights her growing baby bump, while NBA YoungBoy stands behind her dressed in a black jacket, white shirt, white pants, and cowboy boots. More photos from the maternity shoot later surfaced online, showing the couple posing together.
