Yikes! Claressa Shields Calls Out Laila Ali For “Hating” & Allegedly Neglecting The Black Community (VIDEOS)

Laila Ali recently addressed Claressa Shields, putting her on blast in a previously released YouTube video. Ali called out Claressa for using her name for count and attention, then broke down their history and shared that she gave Shields advice early in her career, with receipts to prove it! Well if you thought for one second Claressa was going to let the call out slide, think again! She responded back to Laila with her own clips and didn’t bite her tongue.

Claressa Shields Claps Back After Laila Ali Drops Receipts About Their Past Relationship

Let’s start with how Claressa Shields took her response to a whole new level of petty. She copied Laila’s video style to a T, clapping back with her own 20-minute video. And don’t get it twisted — Laila wasn’t the only one with receipts, Claressa came locked and loaded with hers too.

She kicked things off by accusing Laila of tearing others female athletes down/ Claressa even dropped a clip from Laila’s old ‘Breakfast Club’ interview, where Laila talked about one of Ronda Rousey’s fights. Claressa said those comments came off demeaning and discrediting. From there, she accused Laila of hating on any woman in combat sports who gets more shine than her. “Now this is the thing that people want to overlook. She’s suppose to be so classy and suppose to be so above everything,” Shields said.

Shields Puts Ali On Blast For Turning Her Back On The Black Community

Shields didn’t stop there, she kept going, sayingLaila never stood on the same front for “Black Lives Matter.” Claressa even shared photos of herself at protests support Black men being continuously murdered by police. The boxing champ also dropped a past video of Laila talking about her intentions to support the Black community. In that interview, Laila said she has fans of all races and never wants to make anyone feel excluded. She added that she likes the idea of “All Lives Matter” because it includes everyone. But for Shields, that comment hit different since Muhammad Ali, was known for challenging racial injustices.

“To me it doesn’t seem like you’re proud to be who you are or to be the daughter of the Great Muhammad Ali.”

Shields also called out Laila’s video aimed at her, saying it gave off pure mean girl energy, “nice” but still “nasty.”

“She’s always wanted to hate on me out loud and now she’s doing it, proud and with her chest out to promote a YouTube channel,” Claressa added.

Here’s What Laila Previously Said About Claressa

Laila Ali seemingly dropped her YouTube video after Claressa took a jab at her on while appearing on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ podcast, calling her “just Muhammad Ali’s daughter. In her video, Laila said she felt disappointed in Claressa and thinks Claressa has been working extra hard to taint her image.

“At the time I was not aware of her divisive, vindictive, malicious nature. I know those are strong words, but they fit! She saw me as the face of women’s boxing, and she told me that she wanted my spot. And she’s been on a mission to ruin my reputation ever since,” Laila said in previous Instagram footage.
