More information has been released about “Isaiah H.,” the now believed to be 8-year-old boy, found deceased in a cooler amid his mom, Destiny Harrison, dad, Daniel Monzon, and grandmother, Ana Zarceno-Carcamo‘s arrests.

Destiny Harrison, Daniel Monzon & Ana Zarceno-Carcamo Appear In Court After Boy Found In Cooler

According to ABC 7 Los Angeles, Daniel Monzon and Ana Zarceno-Carcomo recently made their first appearance in court on Monday, November 3. Per the outlet, the 25-year-old father is scheduled to be arraigned on November 25. Meanwhile, Zarceno-Carcomo will reportedly be arraigned on November 20.

Per PEOPLE, Destiny Harrison made her first court appearance on Friday, October 31. In photos captured of her appearance, Harrison utilized her defense attorney and manila envelopes to shield her face from the view of cameras.

More Information Released About “Isaiah H.,” The Now-Believed-To-Be 8-Year-Old Boy Found In Cooler

On October 31, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office released more information about the case. Furthermore, the office identified the boy found as “Isaiah H.” and added that he is “believed” to have been 8 years old at the time of his death.”

“According to the criminal complaint, the victim was allegedly abused by his mother, father, and paternal grandmother over a long period of time. The boy succumbed to his injuries early on Oct. 24, and his body was found days later in a cooler filled with ice,” the office asserts.

More On The Initial Discovery Of “Isaiah H.,” Which Was Initially Ruled As 7-Year-Old Found In Freezer

As The Shade Room previously reported, on October 28, authorities arrived at an apartment in the Lynwood neighborhood. This, to reportedly perform a welfare check on a child. There, they reportedly discovered what they believed was the body of a 7-year-old in a freezer. Ultimately, Destiny Harrison, Daniel Monzon, and Ana Zarceno-Carcamo were arrested — specifically, the mother on suspicion of murder and the father and grandmother on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Since then, each individual has been charged with “one felony count each of murder, torture, and child abuse resulting in death.” Furthermore, the father and grandmother “face charges of being accessories after the fact.”

At this time, authorities believe the abuse of the boy dates back to April 2025. However, at this time, details such as his name, age, date of birth, and cause of death remain to be determined. Furthermore, they have been unable to locate any records indicating that he ever attended school. As previously reported, three additional children have been removed from the home. PEOPLE reports that one of the kids was a witness to the abuse.
